Community Church at SaddleBrooke is entering an exciting new phase in it's music ministry. Transition brings many adjustments, and the Music Committee is beginning to analyze our program. As your new Choir director I am preparing a schedule for the coming months of meaningful musical presentations. I want our church members to know that I invite hearing your ideas and suggestions for the enrichment of our worship services. To this end, I request the following:
1. If you enjoy singing, please consider joining our Choir. We rehearse on Wednesdays, 3:30-5:00 p.m., at the Parish House, and 7:30 a.m. Sunday mornings before worship at the Desert View Theater.
2. Consider presenting a special music number, even if you're not a choir member. This could be as a soloist or with a small group, and be either vocal or instrumental.
3. Please pass on to me the names of people who you believe could contribute to our music program, even if they are outside of our congregation.
4. Let me know if you have the skills and are willing to periodically fill in for our accompanist Susan Tjossem. If you can assist our music ministry in any of these areas, please contact me, Charles Riddell, at 825-2126. May God bless our efforts.
